A Tour & Tasting in Old Allegheny

It’s a home and garden tour – with guided wine sampling! Guests will spend a weekend visiting some of the most lavishly landscaped and decorated spaces in the Allegheny West Historic District on Pittsburgh’s Northside.

Pandemic Update

We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Wine & Garden tour for 2021, to allow us to focus on creating a fabulous (and safe) Christmas tour (conditions allowing). Plans are already in the works for an amazing tour in 2022. Sign up for updates!

We’re going to try again in 2022!

Friday, June 18, 2021 @ 5:00 pm  |  Saturday, June 19, 2021 @ 1:00 pm or 5:00 pm

Allegheny West Civic Council welcomes you to a walking tour of historic Allegheny West. This docent-led tour will guide you through Pittsburgh’s smallest historic neighborhood sharing the rich history of a bygone era. The tour starts at Holmes Hall and continues through the neighborhood visiting six additional homes and gardens. Guests will have their palates delighted with small plates from some of Pittsburgh’s great eateries and complemented with perfectly paired wines.
