When Randy Weston passed away at 92, he left an enduring mark on the jazz world. In the last chapter of his life, Weston enjoyed many accolades, including being named an NEA Jazz Master and receiving the prestigious Doris Duke Performing Artist Award.
The Quintet will be led by saxophonist and flutist T.K. Blue. He will be joined by bassist Alex Blake, master percussionist Chief Baba Neil Clarke, trombonist Frank Lacy and pianist Sharp Radway.
