Take your children on a storytelling trip around the world. Launching this new series is storyteller Kuniko Yamamoto.
Kuniko Yamamoto combines charming Japanese folktales with traditional Japanese musical instruments, magical masks, origami and mime to create storytelling that will have audience spellbound in their seats. Using origami, music and audience participation, Kuniko provides a magical entry into Japanese culture. In her unique show “Origami Tales” mythological character masks & puppets, amazing flowers and a dragon (all made from origami) set the stage while Kuniko shares heartfelt stories from ancient Japan.
Kuniko is an internationally renowned performer who has graced such venues as The Kennedy Center and Disney’s Epcot Center. Expect boundless imagination out of simple paper folding and uplifting world of storytelling.
