Life and Dreams in the Burgh

In the fall of 2015 Tatiana Istomina was a visiting artist at City of Asylum. While here she did lengthy interviews with fourteen Pittsburghers from all walks of life (an artist, a medical student, a dishwasher, a foster mother of six, and others) to explore the collective consciousness of our city.

In addition to the interviews, the film includes digital animation, found footage and video imagery created by two Pittsburgh-based artists, Sofia Sandoval and Emily Newman.

Tatiana Isomina will be present for a Q & A after the film.
