Artistic Director Alan Obuzor premieres his newest work, which includes music curated to reflect themes of change, transition, and life’s natural ebb and flow. Musical artists include Anesthesia, Fun, Glass Animals, and The Airborne Toxic Event.
Resident dancer Madeline Kendall Schreiber’s new creation explores cultivation and growth – from planting seeds to rainfall, germination, and blooming. Rounding out the program is YES, a sharp work for two dancers and an expansion of resident dancer Katie Miller’s 2018 WIP performance piece featuring Franz Liszt’s music. Alan Obuzor’s Breathe also takes the stage for the first time at the New Hazlett Theater.
