NSLC is hosting a Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Party at the Allegheny Elks Lodge on Tuesday, February 17th from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. Tickets are $8 at door and sales benefit the Deutschtown Music Festival.
Dixie Doc and the Dixieland All Stars will be playing Dixieland Jazz starting at 8:00 pm. Legends of the North Shore and James St Gastropub will be selling po’boys and gumbo! Louisiana’s Abita Beer will be on tap at the bar. Northside’s own Jack “Johnny Angel” Hunt will be our first annual Mardi Gras King – he’ll join the band for a few numbers and he’ll have New Orleans music memorabilia from his collectibles store Ginchy Stuff. We’ll have King Cake, beads and a helluva good time!
