We are thrilled to announce we have arranged a second Grand Opening event with Nobel Laureate in Literature Svetlana Alexievich at 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 10th!
We are appreciative to Ms. Alexievich and Mr. Gourevitch, who kindly agreed to present this second program so more people could join us in this day of celebration.
For this grand moment in our evolution, the Guest of Honor 2015 Nobel Laureate in Literature Svetlana Alexievich will deliver the “Inaugural Address” to launch City of Asylum @ Alphabet City. Afterwards, she will engage in a public interview/conversation with New Yorker writer Philip Gourevitch.
